Diane Solo, born Godo Marceline in 1960 in Lakota, Ivory Coast, is a singer known for her contributions to African music. She initially worked as a caregiver before transitioning into a musical career in 1982 with the release of her debut EP N’Zikétio. The EP's hit single "Nayoutou" propelled her to fame, gaining both media and commercial success. In 1984, Diane Solo was called back to Ivory Coast from Paris to perform the hymn for the Coupe d’Afrique des Nations Côte d’Ivoire 84. Her subsequent albums include Wa Wa you le (1984), Un Style (1986), Black Congress (1988), Superman (1999), Coup de cœur (2006), and Best Of Memories (2014).
