Grażyna Auguścik, born on August 17, 1955, in Słupsk, Poland, is a jazz vocalist. She studied guitar before transitioning to singing, graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1992. Auguścik's debut performance was at the festival in Toruń in 1977, followed by wins at festivals in Opole and Kraków. In 1988, she moved to the United States, collaborating with notable artists such as Michał Urbaniak, Jim Hall, Michael Brecker, and Patricia Barber. She has released several albums, including Sunrise Sunset (1988), Don't Let Me Go (1996), and Man Behind The Sun – Songs Of Nick Drake (2012). Auguścik was named Best Jazz Vocalist by the European magazine Jazz Forum five times between 2002 and 2016.
