Severino Seeger was born on 28 November 1986 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and works as a pop singer. After leaving a hairdressing apprenticeship and working as a warehouse employee and in a call‑center, he began performing with a blues cover band and later with his own group, Sev’n Beat, writing original material. His breakthrough came in 2015 when he won the twelfth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, earning a €500 000 prize and a contract with Universal Music; his winner’s single "Hero Of My Heart" entered the German charts at number 10. The same year he released his self‑titled debut album Severino and followed with the single "Love Me Like This". In 2016 he issued the single "Flieg mit mir", and subsequent releases in 2017 ("Do You Love Me"), 2020 ("Du bist meine Eins" and "Lambada"), 2021 ("Lieb Mich"), 2022 ("Immer für dich – Sempre per te"), and 2023 ("Purple Rain" and "Jetzt bist du mein"). Severino has performed on national tours, and engaged with the charity Subsidium e. V. in 2016.
