Eirik Blodøks Hafskjold, born 1982 in Sande, Vestfold, Norway, is a Norwegian electronic musician known as SkyMarshall Arts. He began his career in 1995 under the alias Dj Dark on the tracker site Trax in Space, producing original and remixed music on the Amiga 500 using trackers like OctaMED. He is known for creating melodic electronic remixes of classic video game music from systems like the Amiga 500, Commodore 64, and Nintendo, describing his work as “Music for the Gamer Generation.” His early work includes Tracker in Training (1999). Under the SkyMarshall Arts name, he released The Nintendo Generation (2000). Notable tracks from this period include “Forever Gamer”. In 2012, Hafskjold founded SkyMarshall Arts Studio, distributing his music via platforms such as Spotify and iTunes, which led to The Gamer Generation (2012).
