Weekend Nachos, a power violence band from DeKalb, Illinois, formed in 2004. The group released their debut EP Torture via Tooth Decay Records in 2005. In 2006, they recorded and released a split album with Chronic Bleeding Syndrome via Force Fed Records. Their first full-length album, Punish and Destroy, was released in 2007 via Cowabunga Records. Weekend Nachos continued their prolific output with the release of Unforgivable (2009) and Worthless (2011), both via Relapse Records. The band announced their retirement in January 2016, with their final album, Apology., released in May of the same year. Their last show took place on January 14, 2017, at Subterranean in Chicago. Weekend Nachos reunited for a performance on November 18, 2023, at the Metro in Chicago, opening for Harm's Way.
