Rolf "Larry" Schuba, born January 29, 1951, in Landshut, Germany, was a country musician and radio presenter. He began his career in 1967 with the band Western Union and later released hits such as "Auf der Autobahn" and "Ich möcht so gerne mal nach Nashville". Schuba founded the Country Music Circus in the 1980s and wrote "Danke", named County Song of the year by the German American Country Music Federation (GACMF) in 1992. He hosted a weekly country music show on Radio Berlin 88.8 from 1997 to 2011. Schuba received the Country Circle Award for Singer of the Year in 1993 and was inducted into the Deutsche Countrymusic Hall of Fame in 1996. He passed away on July 23, 2023.
