Frank Ramond, born on April 7, 1964, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a German and French lyricist, composer, singer, and music producer. He completed his Abitur at the Hamburger Jesuiten-Gymnasium St. Ansgar in 1983 and began producing records during his law studies. Ramond wrote over 1000 titles, including songs for notable artists such as Udo Lindenberg, Barbara Schöneberger, and Roger Cicero. He contributed the lyrics to "Frauen regier’n die Welt" (2007), Germany's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Ramond released the solo albums Große Jungs (2009) and Ganz klar (2011). He also penned the lyrics for musicals such as Das Wunder von Bern, which premiered in Hamburg in 2014, and Skiverliebt. His accolades include an Echo Pop award in 2007 for Best Producer and the Fred-Jay-Preis in 2010.
