Las Manos de Filippi, also known as LMF, is an Argentine rock band formed in 1992 by Hernán Carlos de Vega and Gabriel Hermo. The group emerged from the underground music scene of Buenos Aires, blending various genres such as cumbia, ska, hip hop, reggae, punk, and rock. Their debut album Arriba las manos, esto es el Estado was released in 1998 under Universal Music after a dispute with Bersuit Vergarabat over the song "Sr. Cobranza". The band's subsequent releases include Hasta las manos (2002) and Control obrero (2007). Notable songs like "Los métodos piqueteros" and "El himno del Cucumelo" highlighted their politically charged lyrics and humorous approach. Las Manos de Filippi continued to release albums such as La calesita de Mamanis (2010) and Macri (2018).
