The Carburetors, a Norwegian rock band from Oslo that plays a mix of rock'n roll and hard rock, was formed in 2001 by Eddie Guz, Kai Kidd, King O’Men, Stian Krogh, and Chris Nitro. Their single, "Burning Rubber", was released in 2001. The band's breakthrough came with their first album, Pain is Temporary, Glory is Forever, in 2004, followed by Loud Enough to Raise the Dead in 2006. In 2008, they released Rock'n'Roll Forever, a compilation of old and new tracks. The Carburetors have performed at various festivals, including With Full Force and Mighty Sounds, and supported acts like Mötley Crüe and Judas Priest. They participated in the Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection with "Don't Touch the Flame" in 2012. Their album Laughing in the Face of Death was released in 2015. On September 22, 2025, the band was listed in the first booking announcement ahead of Tons of Rock 2026.
