Michael Marsicano, known professionally as DJ Micro, is an American DJ and producer. He began his career on the East Coast, co-founding the Caffeine Records collective in 1991, where he specialized in acid breaks. In 1994, he formed the duo Progression with Vicious Vic, releasing their debut single "Reach Further" (1994) and remixing tracks for artists such as Paradise 3001 and Joe T. Vanelli. DJ Micro's solo career took off with his first mix album Coast to Coast in 1997, followed by Micro-Tech-Mix in 1998 under Moonshine Music. He continued releasing annual mix albums, including Tech-Mix Live @ Avaland, Boston in 2001 and Direct Konnect in 2006. DJ Micro toured extensively across the U.S., evolving his style from breakbeat to trance while maintaining his breakbeat emphasis.
