Lost In The Trees is an American orchestral folk pop band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Formed in 2007 by lead singer and guitarist Ari Picker, the group initially consisted of musicians assembled to record the EP Time Taunts Me on Trekky Records. Following a move back to North Carolina, Picker formed a stable lineup with Emma Nadeau (french horn/vocals), Drew Anagnost (cello), Jenavieve Varga (violin), and Mark Daumen (tuba). The band's album All Alone in an Empty House was released on Trekky Records in 2008, later reissued by ANTI-Records. In 2010, Paste Magazine listed Lost In The Trees among "The 20 Best New Bands of 2010". Their second album with ANTI-Records, A Church That Fits Our Needs, was released in 2012 and peaked at number 9 on Billboard's Heatseeker's Albums chart. The album Past Life was released in 2014.
