Jérôme Sabbagh, born 14 September 1973 in Paris, is a French saxophonist who moved to the United States in 1993 to study at Berklee College of Music. After moving to New York in 1995, he co‑founded the collective Flipside, recording a self‑titled album on Naxos Jazz and touring Europe and New Zealand for five years. Sabbagh’s discography includes Pogo (2007) on Sunnyside/Bee Jazz, followed by Jérôme Sabbagh Trio (2008), I Will Follow You (2011), Plugged In (2012) featuring Jozef Dumoulin, Patrice Blanchard and Rudy Royston, and The Turn (2014) on Sunnyside. His collaborations include work with Ben Monder, Daniel Humair, and the Pablo Ablanedo Octet, while his recordings have been highlighted by Jazz Magazine.
