Omid 16B is a British-Iranian electronic music producer and disc jockey born as Omid Nourizadeh on 1 January 1974 in Tehran. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began after listening to rock music and pirate radio in London. Nourizadeh achieved professional recognition for founding the labels Alola and Disclosure and performing under the stage names 16B and Phaser. He achieved professional recognition for the aliases the Sixteen Million Dollar Man and ORN. His recording career began with the debut studio recording Sounds from Another Room (1998) released on the label Eye Q. The recording achieved professional recognition for receiving praise from the magazines Muzik and the Independent on Sunday. His discography included the studio recording The Witch/Which Equation (2001), the studio recording How to Live 100 Years (2002), and the studio recording Like 3 Ears and 1 Eye (Part 1) (2007). Nourizadeh achieved professional recognition for co-founding the ensemble SOS and a residency at the club Ministry of Sound. He achieved professional recognition for producing the first mix recording for the club (2010). His recording career included the studio recording Silenciety (2019) and the studio recording SunTzu (2020).
