Max Stalling, born December 27, 1966, in Crystal City, Texas, is an American Texas country music singer-songwriter. He earned both an undergraduate and a master's degree in Food Science at Texas A&M University and began playing guitar and writing songs during graduate studies. After moving to Dallas for a corporate career, he discovered the local music scene and started performing with a full band. Stalling released his album Banquet in 2015, featuring original music and covers of Doug Sahm and The Beatles. His album Home to You, produced by Grammy winner Lloyd Maines, earned nominations for Best Album and Best Male Vocal at the 2011 LoneStarMusic Awards. Stalling has performed about 150 shows a year and received a star on the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas.
