Coco Electrik is an electropop band and musical alias of Australian singer-songwriter Anne Booty and producer Paul Harrison. Their initial breakthrough came with the split single "Your Love Is Gum" (2004) with Tom Vek. Coco Electrik released their debut album Army Behind The Sun (2007) on Oscillation Records, following a series of acclaimed singles on Tummy Touch Records and Oscillation Records. Notable collaborations include appearances by George Demure, Kreeps, and Pete Wareham on their second album White Ink (2010). The band's music has been featured in various media outlets, including the soundtracks for the film Burn After Reading (2008) and the Australian drama Underbelly. Their song "Apple Pie" (2006) was used in a remix for Target Australia’s Effortless Denim campaign, while the song "Pussyfooter" was used in a remix for Target USA's Fall Style campaign during the 2013 Emmy Awards. Other notable singles include "Paint It Red" (2005) and "Sex Shooter" (2006).
