Bearfoot, a Canadian rock band, was founded in 1969 with Jim Atkinson, Terry Danko, Dwayne Ford, Hugh Brockie, and Brian Hilton. The group initially performed as part of Ronnie Hawkins' Rock and Roll Revival and Travelling Medicine Show before forming Bearfoot and signing with Columbia Records. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1972 under the name "Atkinson, Danko and Ford (with Brockie and Hilton)". The band's notable singles include "Right On" (1972) and "Molly" (1973). Bearfoot was nominated for the 1974 Juno Award for Most Promising Group of the Year. In 1975, they released their final album, Passing Time, as "Dwayne Ford and Bearfoot." Atkinson and Danko left the band in 1973 to pursue work as musicians in California but reunited with Jerry Baird in 1985. The group is now presumably defunct.
