The Twelves was a Brazilian electronic music and DJ duo consisting of João Miguel and Luciano Oliveira. The group gained initial recognition through their remixes of popular artists spanning from M.I.A. and La Roux to Nirvana and The Beatles. In March 2009, the US music magazine Spin included The Twelves in its list of "9 Unknown Bands to Watch at SWSX." Their work was also featured on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix. In 2011, they released the album Kitsuné Tabloid.
