Tony Maiello, was born on March 15, 1989, in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. He is an Italian singer who began his music career by participating in the casting show Amici and later in the first Italian edition of X Factor, where he finished fourth in 2008. Following this, he was produced by juror Mara Maionchi and released his debut EP, Ama calma, in 2009. Maiello gained significant recognition at the Sanremo Festival 2010 with "Il linguaggio della resa," winning the newcomer category and subsequently releasing an album of the same name. In 2012, he signed with the label Rosso al tramonto and released several singles. From 2015 onward, Maiello also worked as a songwriter for notable artists such as Laura Pausini, Lorenzo Fragola, and Francesco Renga.
