The Daylights were an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004 by brothers Ran Jackson and Ricky Jackson, along with Svend Lerche. They released their first EP Shift and Blur in 2004. In December 2010, they gained significant attention with the song "I Hope This Gets To You", which was viewed over 1.5 million times within 72 hours on YouTube and reached number 4 on Sirius XM. Their self-titled album The Daylights, released in 2010, spent five weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and included the single "Rogue Machine". They embarked on several tours, released the Sans Radio EP (2008) and Modern Fossils EP (2012), and had music featured in various TV shows and films. They disbanded in 2013.
