Marko Haavisto, born on March 22, 1970, in Lapinjärvi, Finland, is a Finnish musician and singer. He began his music career as a member of the band Badding Rockers from 1988 to 1993. With Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat, he gained prominence through several film appearances directed by Aki Kaurismäki, including Dogs Have No Hell, The Man Without a Past, and The Other Side of Hope. The band's music blends country, rock, hillbilly, and folk elements. Notable albums include Lamppu Palaa (2002), Kunpa Tietäisitkin (2004), and Tässä Ja Nyt (2006).
