Ruinside was a Finnish metal band from Tampere, formed in 2005 by Johnny "Hornanvasara" Kylätie and Kimmo "Rihmis" Jankkari. The duo initially played guitar and bass respectively, with Kylätie later switching to drums after struggles finding a suitable drummer. Erkki Seppänen joined as the vocalist, followed by Seppo "Zeppo" Kolehmainen on guitar. After releasing two demos and two EPs, Ruinside signed with Mighty Music and released their debut album The Hunt in 2012, followed by tours across Europe. Tragically, bassist Lauri Aitonurmi died in a car accident shortly after the album's release. Ruinside continued with new bassist Pirkka Birkstedt and released their second album 10 Forms of Domination in 2014. The band announced their disbandment in early 2015, though they left open the possibility of future reunions.
