Babis Stokas, born in Wuppertal, Germany, is a Greek singer and songwriter. He began his music career as a founding member of the rock group Pyx Lax in 1989, serving as the lead singer, lyricist, and composer until the band's dissolution in 2004. During this period, Stokas released his first solo album Poulia tis Nychtas in 2001. Following Pyx Lax's disbandment, he formed The Gamma Plan and released his second studio album Stin Akri tis Giortis in March 2006. His live album Tragoudiste, min Drepeste, achieved gold status sales in 2008. Subsequent releases include the studio albums Volta (2010) and I Avli ton Trelon (2012). Stokas has also collaborated with notable Greek artists such as George Dalaras and Melina Aslanidou.
