Eric Sardinas, born on November 10, 1970, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is an American blues-rock slide guitarist. He began playing the guitar at age six, inspired by recordings from artists like Barbecue Bob and Muddy Waters. Despite being naturally left-handed, Sardinas learned to play right-handed, a choice that shaped his unique technique. He moved to Los Angeles in 1990, where he started performing on the streets before forming the Eric Sardinas Project (ESP) with bassist Paul Loranger and later adding drummer Scott Palacios. They gained traction playing in clubs and signed with Evidence Music Inc., releasing their debut album Treat Me Right (1999). They followed up with Devil's Train (2001).
