The Din Pedals was an American alternative rock band formed in 1991 in San Luis Obispo, California. Originally a power trio, the band released two independent recordings during the mid-1990s before signing with Epic Records in 1997. Their self-titled major-label debut, The Din Pedals, was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Stephen Short, and released in February 1998. Vocalist James Grundler left the band shortly after the album’s release to form Paloalto. The Din Pedals disbanded soon thereafter.
