Goldblade, an English punk rock band from Manchester, formed in early 1995. Their debut single, "Soul Power", was released under Ultimate Records. The band's first album, Home Turf, followed in 1997. In 2002, Goldblade released their third album, Do U Believe in the Power of Rock n Roll?, under Twenty Stone Blatt Records. They have performed at major UK festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading, as well as international venues. In 2013, Goldblade released The Terror of Modern Life, followed by Acoustic Jukebox in 2014. The band scaled back their activities when The Membranes reformed but reunited for occasional live shows.
