Juniper Moon was a Spanish pop-punk band from Ponferrada formed in 1996. Their breakthrough came with the single "¿Volverás?" in 1999, which gained international attention, notably on BBC Radio 1's The Evening Show. They signed with Elefant Records and released their debut EP Basado En Hechos Reales in 2000. Their first full-length album, El Resto De Mi Vida, was released in 2002, followed by the EP Sólo Una Sonrisa in 2003. The band's popularity grew, leading to performances at major festivals. In 2004, their song was included in the UK compilation Indiepop 1 by Rough Trade. Despite this success, Juniper Moon disbanded later that year due to internal differences.
