Andrea Meyer Haugen, known professionally as Andrea "Nebel" Haugen and Nebelhexë, was a German singer born on July 6, 1969, in Hannover. She gained recognition as a guest vocalist for Cradle of Filth's 1994 debut album The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. Around the same time, she co-founded the dark ambient project Aghast. In 1996, she founded Hagalaz’ Runedance, inspired by London's neofolk scene and its occult philosophy. The project released several albums including The Winds That Sang of Midgard's Fate (1998) and Volven (2000). From 2003 onward, she released music under the name Nebelhexë, releasing albums such as Essensual (2006) and Dead Waters (2009). Haugen was also known for her literary works, including The Ancient Fires of Midgard (2000) and contributions to film scripts. She was killed in a shooting incident on October 13, 2021, in Kongsberg, Norway.
