Reto Burrell, born on March 8, 1973, in Luzern, Switzerland, is a musician, songwriter, and music producer. He began playing music and writing songs at age 12. Burrell started his career as a guitarist in various rock bands, including Profax. From the early to mid-1990s, he was the singer and guitarist for the alternative rock band Släm. In 1997, Burrell transitioned to a solo career, making music his full-time profession by 1999. He signed with Blue Rose Records in 2001, releasing three albums under this label until 2004: Echo Park, Shaking Off Monkeys, and Roses Fade Blue. Burrell continued to release albums on his own label Echopark Music Records. His subsequent releases include Side A & B (2017) and Shampoo or Gasoline (2018), both of which charted in the European Americana Charts.
