Joe Fiedler, born March 24, 1965, is an American trombonist and composer known for his work in jazz and modern creative music. He has collaborated with leading figures such as Anthony Braxton and Andrew Hill. In the 2000s, Fiedler performed with a range of ensembles, including Chris Jonas’ The Sun Spits Cherries, the Ed Palermo Big Band, Jason Lindner, Kevin Norton, Fast 'N' Bulbous, and the Satoko Fujii Orchestra New York. He has also led a trio with John Hébert and Mark Ferber, which produced recordings including a tribute to Albert Mangelsdorff. His discography includes Plays the Music of Albert Mangelsdorff (2005) and Joe Fiedler's Big Sackbut (2011).
