La Mal Coiffée is a French vocal group based in Minervois, between Aude and Hérault. Formed by Myriam Boisserie, Marie Coumes, Laetitia Dutech, and Karine Berny, the quartet specialized in Occitan traditional music. Their repertoire included popular Occitan songs and poetry, often accompanied solely by percussion. The group released their first album, Polyphonies occitanes, in 2007. They have performed extensively across France and Occitania, including notable festivals such as Les Vieilles Charrues and Sziget Festival in Budapest. In 2008, La Mal Coiffée embarked on a tour to Mongolia with the association Champs de l'homme. Subsequent albums include Òu! Los òmes! (2011), L'Embelinaire (2014), and ...E los leons (2017).
