Diana Mary Fluck, known professionally as Diana Dors, was born on October 23, 1931, in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. She began her career as a singer and actress, initially gaining attention through modeling and local theater productions. After excelling at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Dors made her screen debut in The Shop at Sly Corner (1947). Her early film roles included appearances in Holiday Camp (1947) and Dancing with Crime (1947). In the 1950s, she became known for her roles in sex film comedies and risqué modeling. She also gained popularity through her performances on TV, in recordings, and in cabaret. Diana Dors passed away on May 4, 1984.
