Walking Papers is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2012 by Jeff Angell and Barrett Martin. Their debut album, Walking Papers, was released on August 16, 2013, featuring contributions from Mike McCready of Pearl Jam. The band returned with the album WP2 on January 19, 2018, after several years of inactivity. Due to commitments with Guns N' Roses, Duff McKagan was replaced by Dan Spalding for the tour, and Martin was replaced by Will Andrews from Ten Miles Wide. The band also added second guitarist Tristan Hart Pierce and saxophonist Gregor Lothian. Their third album, The Light Below, was released on February 5, 2021, with "What Did You Expect" as a single released exclusively on Loudwire on August 5, 2020.
