Suns is a group of musicians who come from different countries, but fate, coincidence, and the shared will to be in a band have brought them together in Utrecht, The Netherlands. As a band, they make music and write songs about the complications and simplicity of life, the human condition, the planet, and everything in between. Through songwriting and sound, Suns carries forward a message, a story, or both. As a collective, they dive into the unexpected and bring the unpredictable back into their musical expression.
The music of Suns falls on a spectrum of many genres. They love to be inspired by all different places, like other bands and musicians. The sound of Suns flows from a need for expression. They do not want to limit themselves to a specific music genre, but if you have to put a name to it, Suns falls into a more alternative, art, and psychedelic rock genre. What feels right is flowing and organic, regardless of the genre.
