Luis María Pescetti, born on January 15, 1958, in San Jorge, Santa Fe, Argentina, is a musician, singer, and author. He began his career in 1979 with café concert performances. In 1989, he moved to Mexico, where he hosted the radio program Hola, Luis on Radio UNAM. Pescetti returned to Argentina in 2001 and became the host of El vampiro negro, a show on Radio Nacional that earned him the Premio Pregonero Radial de la Fundación El Libro in 2005. His musical career includes albums such as El vampiro negro (1998), Cassette pirata (2001), and Qué público de porquería (2005). He has also received notable awards, including five Premios Gardel and the Grammy Latino for Best Children's Music Album in 2010. Pescetti's work extends beyond music to literature, with numerous books for children and adults, and his series Natacha was adapted into a film in 2018.
