Alktraxx was a French electronic and hip-hop ensemble formed in 2001 in Rennes. The group consisted of Goulven Le Gall, Arnaud Herry, and Louis-David Roquefere. Le Gall and Herry previously performed in the ensemble Deal'M and the Yamayory collective. The trio released its debut studio recording, Rêves d'enfants, in 2003. The album featured collaborations with Afrika Bambaataa and BronxMob. In 2004, the band won the Vieilles Charrues festival competition and performed at the event in July. Roquefere joined as a guitarist during the production of the second album, La Folie, which appeared in 2008 through Platinum Records. The group collaborated with engineer Nico Rouvière and performed as an opening act for artists including Hocus Pocus and Psy 4 De La Rime. The ensemble released its third studio recording, Propagande, in February 2010. The group became inactive following this release.
