Krista Detor is an American adult contemporary singer-songwriter and pianist from Bloomington, Indiana. Her musical career gained significant traction with her second album Mudshow (2006). This album established her presence on the world stage and was followed by Cover Their Eyes (2007), produced alongside partner David Weber. Her music was featured extensively on platforms such as NPR, PBS, BBC, and at events like the Cannes Film Festival. She reached Number 1 on the Euro-Americana chart, and her albums placed within the top 10 of U.S. Folk and Independent Music charts. She performed with Joan Armatrading, Suzanne Vega, and Aaron Neville. She toured extensively across the U.S., Canada, and Northern Europe. She also released the albums A Dream in a Cornfield (2004), The Silver Wood: Wintersongs (2008), Chocolate Paper Suites (2010), Flat Earth Diary (2013), Barely (2015), and Chaos, Collisions and Clocks (2019).
