Eläkeläiset is a Finnish humppa band from Joensuu formed in 1993 as a side project by members of Kumikameli. They initially performed at a few concerts before recording their debut album Humppakäräjät (1994). Their early performances included festivals such as Provinssirock and Laituri, leading to international gigs in Sweden. In 1995, they released their second album Humpan Kuninkaan Hovissa (1995), followed by extensive touring across Europe. Notable albums include Humppamaratooni (1997), which marked significant line-up changes, and Werbung, Baby! (1999), their first to chart in Finland. Their releases include Humppa-Akatemia (2000) and Pahvische (2002). In 2003, they celebrated their ten-year anniversary with a 25-hour humppa marathon at the Provinssirock festival. Their unique style of covering popular songs in the humppa or jenkka styles led to notable achievements such as participating in the Eurovision Song Contest selection process in 2010 with the single "Hulluna humpasta" (2010). They released the compilation album Humppamania (2018).
