Miss Piggy, a Muppet character known for her diva superstar personality, debuted in 1974. She gained prominence through The Muppet Show, where she had a breakout role. Her earliest known performance by Frank Oz was on The Tonight Show in 1974. She released the album Miss Piggy's Aerobique Exercise Workout Album in 1982. Miss Piggy was recognized for her contributions to pop culture, including being ranked number 23 on TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time in 1996 and receiving a collective star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the Muppets in 2012. Throughout her career, Miss Piggy was performed by various actors, notably Frank Oz (1976–2002) and Eric Jacobson (2001–present).
