Frágil, a Peruvian rock band formed in Lima in 1976, initially included Octavio Castillo, César Bustamante, and Luis Valderrama. The group released their debut album Avenida Larco in 1981, featuring the song "Avenida Larco" and Peru's second-ever music video. In 1983, Andrés Dulude left temporarily, leading to the inclusion of Argentine singer Piñin Folgado for the singles "Nave Blanca" and "Antihéroes". Dulude returned in 1988, and the band released Serranío in 1990 and Cuento Real in 1992. With various lineup changes, including Jorge Durand on drums from 1989 onwards, they released Alunado in 1995. In 1999, Frágil recorded the live album Sorpresa del Tiempo, supported by a symphony orchestra. Dulude left again in 2013, with Alex Rojas taking over as lead vocalist.
