Behind the name Tony Boy lies one of Italy's hottest rappers of the 2020s. Born Antonio Hueber in Padua (Veneto) on September 26, 1999, to a mother of Czech origin and an Italian father, in his youth he fell in love with pop punk, then rap. His first EP Non c'è futuro (2019), followed by the mixtape Going Hard (2020), the first of a multi-volume series, synthesizes this in the form of emo rap. With the help of his producer Wairaki, who was also to follow him in his rise, Tony Boy then produced the second installment Going Hard 2 (2021) for the same label, Gorilla Records, before signing with Warner Music Italy for the following Umile (2023). Surrounded this time by a whole team of producers, the rapper, who welcomes Shiva, Frah Quintale, Kid Yugi and Artie 5ive, appears at number 9 in the charts and receives a platinum disc. In 2023, he returned with the Export EP, whose seven tracks were featured on the album Nostalgia (Export), released in 2024 and ranked No.1 in the Italian charts. The same year saw the release of Going Hard 3, featuring collaborations with close friends Shiva, Kid Yugi, Artie 5ive, Frah Quintale with Capo Plaza, and rapper Anna. The third mixtape, with all tracks charting, reached No. 2 in the Italian charts. The following year, the third album Uforia repeated the same success at the top of the Italian charts, with contributions from Guè, Glocky, Shiva, Simba La Rue, Lazza, Thasup, Astro and Kevin Mopao. Five months later follows the solo opus Trauma, his third number one in a row, led by the #5 hit "Chicchi di caffè" .
