Peter, Sue & Marc were founded in Zurich in 1969. The band consists of Peter Reber, born on April 28, 1949 in Zurich, Sue Schell, born on July 18, 1950 in Zurich, and Marc Dietrich, born on February 2, 1948 in Zurich. The group works in the pop and folk genres. From 1969, Peter Reber, Sue Schell and Marc Dietrich perform together. They left their mark on Swiss pop in the 1970s and 1980s with multilingual songs. In 1976, they represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Djambo Djambo" and reached 4th place. In 1979, they made another appearance with "Trödler und Co". In 1981, they took part with "Io senza te" and reached 4th place. "Trostlos" followed in 1986. One of their best-known songs is "Io senza te", which is also successful in the charts. The albums include Peter, Sue & Marc (1971), Songs (1976) and Four Times (1979). Later releases include The Best of Peter, Sue & Marc (1981). In 1981 Marc Dietrich temporarily parted company with the group. Peter Reber and Sue Schell continue to work as a duo.
