Antonio "Tony" Cicco, born on November 28, 1949 in Naples, Italy, is an Italian drummer and singer-songwriter. He began his career performing with local bands before collaborating with Lucio Battisti as a drummer in 1969. In the same year, Cicco formed the band Formula 3 with Gabriele Lorenzi and Alberto Radius, achieving success under Battisti's production. After Formula 3 disbanded, Cicco adopted the stage name "Cico" and released his debut solo album Notte in 1974. His subsequent releases included E mia madre (1975) and "La gente dice" (1976). Cicco also worked as a composer for artists like Loredana Bertè and Fiorella Mannoia, and collaborated on jazz and fusion productions with musicians such as Pino Daniele, Wynton Marsalis, Steve Gadd, Mino Cinélu, and Eddie Gomez. Following his solo album Pa' in 1989, Cicco rejoined Formula 3 for a reunion in 1990.
