B(if)tek was an Australian electronic music duo formed in Canberra in 1994 by Kate Crawford and Nicole Skeltys. The group recorded their debut album, Sub-Vocal Theme Park, in a suburban garage and released it independently in 1996 through the Geekgirl label. In 2000, B(if)tek signed with the Murmur label, distributed by Sony Music Australia, and released their second album, 2020. The duo received an ARIA Music Awards nomination for Best Dance Release in 1999 for the track “Bedrock”, which appeared on the EP Wired for Sound. In 2003, B(if)tek released their final album, Frequencies Will Move Together, before disbanding later that year.
