Yusuf Güney, born on 5 June 1984 in Trabzon, is a Turkish pop singer who began his career as a songwriter. His breakthrough came in 2008 when his composition "Aşk‑ı Virane" was featured on Rafet El Roman’s album Bir Roman Gibi and later released as a duet, topping the Turkish charts for 16 weeks and earning Song of the Year at the 2009 Turkey Music Awards. In February 2009, he released his debut album Bir Sevda Masalı under Emre Plak, with singles such as "Heder Oldum Aşkına" and "Aşkım Aşklarından Bulasın" achieving high chart positions.
