Neşecan Göktürk, known professionally as Neşe Karaböcek, and born on April 1, 1947, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a singer, actress, and painter. She is recognized as one of the leading interpreters of Turkish Arabesque, a fusion of traditional folk music and international western sounds. She began her career as a singer at the age of four when she joined the children's choir of Radio Ankara and later performed in various theater productions. Her breakthrough came with her first single "Alloma ve Tintin Tini Mini Hanım" released in 1954. Throughout her extensive career, Karaböcek released over 50 albums, including Niyet (1974) and Telli Telli (1985). Notable singles include San Gam (1967) and Aşkın Okulu Olmaz (2020).
