Didrik Solli-Tangen, born on June 11, 1987, in Porsgrunn, Norway, is a singer. From an early age, he showed interest in music, joining a band at 15 as the drummer before transitioning to lead singer. He received voice coaching from Anders Vangen during high school and graduated from the Barratt Due Institute of Performing Arts in Oslo in 2010 with the highest grade. His breakthrough came in 2010 when he represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest with "My Heart is Yours", placing 20 out of 25 contestants. Following his Eurovision appearance, Solli-Tangen released his debut album Guilty Pleasures on November 1, 2010, under Universal Records. His fourth album, O Helga Natt, was released in 2024.
