Keith Peter Christmas, born on October 13, 1946 in Wivenhoe, near Colchester, Essex, England, is a British singer-songwriter. He studied architecture at Bath University but joined Bristol's folk scene. His debut album, Stimulus, was released in 1969 on RCA Victor. Christmas played acoustic guitar on David Bowie’s Space Oddity and performed at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970. Throughout the 1970s, he released albums on B&C and Manticore while touring with bands like The Who and King Crimson. In 1972, Christmas was voted one of six favorite international artists by Sounds magazine writers. He recorded Brighter Day (1974) and Stories from the Human Zoo (1976) for Manticore but stopped playing after the label became inactive. In the late 1980s, he returned to performing with solo acoustic sets and formed the blues band Weatherman in 1991. Notable releases include Love Beyond Deals (1996) and Life, Life (2019).
