Kenneth Wilberforce Zonto Bossman, known as Black Prophet, and born on April 3, 1977, in Accra, Ghana, is a reggae music composer. He started his career with the Ola Williams band and released his debut solo album No Pain No Gain in February 1998 with his backing band, Thunder Strike. Black Prophet gained national attention with the release of Legal Stranger in 2003. In 2007, his song "Doubting Me" (2006) won Best Reggae Song of the Year at the Ghana National Music Awards. This led to international tours and collaborations with notable reggae artists such as Rita Marley, Pliers, Don Carlos, Yellowman, Steel Pulse, Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy, Buju Banton, and Dean Fraser, who produced a song on his album Tribulations released in 2011.
