Lidija Bačić was born on August 4, 1985, in Split, Croatia. She is a Croatian pop singer. She began performing at local festivals from age ten and won an award for her cover of “Zaljubljeni dječak” by Mišo Limić at the Dječji Festival in 1997. Bačić's professional career started as the lead singer of the group Biser, which competed in the Croatian Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection with “Pokraj izvora” in 2001. In 2005, she gained national attention by finishing second in the second season of Hrvatski Idol. She then pursued a solo career. Bačić released her debut album Majčina ljubav in 2010. Her third album, Viski, was released in 2015 and featured the hit single “Viski”, which garnered nearly 30 million views on YouTube.
