Željko Houdek (performing as Jacques Houdek; born 14 April 1981) is a Croatian pop, soul, and R'n'B singer from Velika Gorica. Houdek began a professional career in 2000 and attended the Berklee College of Music in 2001. In 2002, Houdek released the single “Čarolija” and signed with Croatia Records. The debut album Čarolija followed in 2004. Houdek represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “My Friend”, reaching number 8 in the second semi-final and number 13 in the grand final. A four-time Porin award winner, Houdek provided the singing voice for Aladdin in the Croatian dub of the film. Houdek performed at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (2010) and the Croatian National Theatre (2012). Houdek sold out solo concerts at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall 12 times. He served as a mentor on the television series The Voice.
